Baking apples
brown sugar
butter
pie crust
raisins - your decision

Directions:
Directions:
Peel & core an apple. Mix brown sugar & butter and then stuff inside the core of the apple. Then add raisins if you desire. Wrap each apple in a pie crust. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes.

Barb & John loved their Apple Dumplings WITH raisins but Dale & Janie did NOT so...
in typical Barb fashion most of the Apple Dumplings were without raisins.

Added note: "our mom's Apple Dumplings were AWARD winning"!
