6 lbs ground beef, browned & drained
4 packages frozen onions
4 packages frozen green peppers
6 cans stewed tomatoes
4 jars mushrooms, drained
4 packages Schilling/McCormick spaghetti sauce mix
2 tomato paste
1 tomato sauce
1 gallon burgundy wine
1 jar kitchen bouquet

Brown hamburger, drain. Add Kitchen Bouquet to hamburger, mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Mix and cook through.

I learned through many years of makin this that you want to add the wine slowly until it reaches your desired thickness, which will usually be around 1/2-3/4 of the bottle of burgundy.
I also learned that you want the tomato sauce to be the large can and usually 2-3 instead of one. The tomato paste, you want to be 6 small ones or 1-2 big ones.
This makes enough to feed an army and so I always put in quart sized freezer bags.
