2 + 1/2 pounds broiler/fryer chicken, cut up
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 + 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Cooking oil
1 can (8 ounces) sliced pineapple in pure pineapple juice
2/3 cup bier Rabbit light molasses
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can sweet potatoes (drained)

Sprinkle chicken with combined flour, salt and pepper. Brown in hot oil.

Drain pineapple reserving juice.

Combine juice, molasses, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper.

Place chicken in greased 3 quart casserole or baking dish.

Arrange sweet potatoes around chicken; top chicken with pineapple slices.

Brush generously with molasses mixture.

Cover + bake in preheated moderate oven (350 F.). for 30 minutes.

Brush with molasses mixture; uncover, bake 30 minutes longer, brushing occasionally with molasses mixture.
