Dough -
1 c milk
2 T butter
2 T brown sugar
1 envelope rapid rise yeast = 2 tsp.
2 tsp salt
3-3 c flour

Boiling Solution
3 quart water
c baking soda

Egg wash
1 egg
1 tsp water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk and butter until warm 100-110. Add yeast and brown sugar to combine. Add salt and 2 c flour. Beat for 3 mins. Gradually add enough flour to make soft dough. Knead for 8-10 mins. Place in greased bowl. Cover with a clean kitchen towel. Let rise 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400.
Combine boiling solution and bring to a boil. Form 8 rolls from dough. Place roll in boiling water for 1 minute on each side. Remove from water and place on cookie sheet. Brush with egg solution. Cut an "X" on top.
Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 10-12 minutes, until brown.
