1 cup butter
1 ½ cups sugar
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
3 eggs
1 teaspoon soda
1 ½ pounds chopped pecans
1 pound chopped candied cherries
1 pound chopped dates
1 pound chopped golden raisins
3 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, eggs, soda and vanilla. Add 2 ½ cups flour and mix well. In separate bowl, add 2 ½ cups flour to cherries and mix in dates. Add raisins to cherries and mix well. Combine both mixtures. Spray cookie sheet with vegetable oil. Drop mixture by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 8 to 13 minutes. When cookies start to turn brown, they are done. DON'T OVERBAKE. They should be soft inside and crunchy outside.
