1 3/4 cups sifted flour 1/2 T baking powder 3/4 t salt 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar 2 1/4 cups quick cooking oats 1 1/8 cup butter 1 1/2 cups thick strawberry jam
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Mix with sugar and oats. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Press 2/3 of mixture into large pan. Spread with jam and top with remaining crumbs. Bake for 25 minutes at 350º. Cool. Serve topped with whipped cream.
