4 c sifted flour
4 tsp baking powder
2 c milk
1 egg, beat well
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1 c chopped nuts

Directions:

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and sift together twice. Add egg, milk, and nuts. Let rise 1 hr. Bake 1 hr in medium oven.
