2 c finely chopped apples
1 egg
1 tbs butter, melted
1 c sifted flour
1 c sugar
1 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt


Whipped cream or caramel sauce

Sift dry ingredients, add beaten egg, melted butter and apples. Stir well. Bake in greased square pan for 30 min at 350º.
Nuts may be added. Serve with whipped cream or caramel sauce.
