2 eggs

1 cup sugar

½ cup shortening (Crisco)

½ teas salt

2 cups flour

1 teas baking soda

3 or 4 bananas, mashed

½ cup chopped nuts (walnut or pecan)


Directions:
Directions:
Set oven at 350º

Grease 2 regular size loaf pans

Cream together, sugar, shortening, and eggs

Separately mix together soda, salt and flour. Add part of the flour mixture to the creamed mixture

Add bananas, remaining flour mixture, and nuts. Mix altogether.

Pour evenly into the prepared loaf pans. Bake for approximately 1 hour.
