3 c Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. Salt
1 Egg
1/3 c Sugar
6 oz. Lard
Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Mix all ingredients together except for egg and milk.
Put egg in an 8 oz. cup. Heat in microwave for a few seconds - you will begin to see the eggs of egg turning white.
Add milk to 8 oz mark in measuring cup containing egg.
Pour into mixture immediately, stir to form into a ball. Hand mix if needed.
On floured cutting board/counter pat (not roll) ball down to a 3/4 inch depth. Cut into round shapes.
Place round shapes an inch apart on lightly floured baking sheet
Bake at 375 for about 20 minutes.
