For brownies:
5oz. Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips
1½ sticks butter, softened
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 t. vanilla
1 c. flour
For topping:
1½ c.+ milk chocolate chips
1 c. Nutella
1 T. butter
1¾ c. Cocoa Krispies cereal

Preheat oven to 350º F. In a microwave safe bowl, microwave chocolate chips and butter until melted, (or a large saucepan on the stove). Stir in the sugar, then beat in eggs and vanilla with a whisk. Add in the flour. Stir until well mixed. Pour the batter into a cookie sheet or cooking stone (like Pampered Chef or something similar). Bake 15-20 minutes or until the edges set. While the brownies are baking, make the topping. Combine the chocolate chips, Nutella and butter in a medium saucepan. Cook over low heat until melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the Cocoa Krispies. Let brownies cool a few minutes then spread the cereal mixture evenly over the top of the brownies. Refrigerate until set before cutting into pieces.
