1 lb. hamburger
1/2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 T. butter
2 onions, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 whole pimento, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2-8 oz. cans tomato sauce
1/4 C. water
1 T. chili powder dash of hot sauce
1 T. flour
2 T. cold water
2 C. monterey jack cheese, grated
2 C. corn chips, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Brown the hamburger in the oil and butter.
Add the onions, garlic, pimento and green pepper and cook for 5 min.
Add the tomato sauce, water, chili powder and hot sauce.
Make a paste with flour and water.
Slowly pour and stir into the meat sauce.
Simmer for 20 min.
Layer in a casserole-1/2 meat sauce, 1 cup of the cheese and 1 cup crushed corn chips.
Repeat.
Cook for 20 to 25 min.
