4 slightly beaten eggs
¾ c. sugar
¼ t. salt
1 t. vanilla
2½ c. milk, scalded
cinnamon or nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 475º. Thoroughly mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Slowly stir in hot milk. pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon. Bake at 475º for 5-10 minutes. Reduce heat to 425º and bake for 10-15 minutes. Stay close and watch pie at all times, making sure it does not over bake or boil. Makes 1 pie.
