2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
6 tbsp. COLD butter
6 tbsp. lard - Crisco if no lard available
6 to 8 tbsp. COLD water
2 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Cut in the butter and lard with a pastry cutter until it resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle in water, a tbsp at a time, until flour is moistened. Shape dough into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least an hour. Do not over work the dough as it will become tough.
