3 Rounded Cups Flour
3 Rounded Cups All-Bran
1 Rounded Cup Sugar
1 1/2 Cup Dates or Raisins
2 Eggs
1 Rounded tsp. Baking Powder
1 Cup Plus 2 Tbsp. Dark Karo Syrup
2 Cups Buttermilk
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 1/2 Cup Black Walnuts

Directions:

Mix ingredients well, add walnuts last. Fill greased cans 2/3rd s full. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand a while in cans after taking from oven.
