2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp baking powder
¼ cup butter
1 tbsp parsley flakes or 2 green onions diced
1 cup grated old cheddar cheese
1 cup milk

¼ melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder or to taste

Preheat oven to 450º

In a large mixing bowl combine flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add cheese and parsley or green onion. Add milk blending to a soft dough. Drop by heaping tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet

Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.


Remove from oven and brush with remaining butter and garlic powder combination. Serve piping hot.
