FOR CAKE

2 C flour
2 C white sugar
2 small cans mandarin orange slices (drained)
2 eggs
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla1 tsp salt

FOR GLAZE

¾ sugar
3 T milk
3 T butter or margarine

FOR CAKE

Preheat oven to 350º
grease and flour a 9 X 13" pan
place all cake ingredients into a bowl and mix
beat for 3 minutes
pour into pan and bake for 35-40 minutes

FOR GLAZE

mix ingredients in small saucepan
bring to rolling boil

FINISH

while cake is still warm, pour hot glaze all over surface of the cake
Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream
