4 C. masa harina or corn flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 C. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the masa harina and salt in a large bowl.
Add the water and mix with your hands.
Mix untill the dough come together in a soft ball.
Mix and knead for abiout three minutes.
Divide the dough into 18 equal parts and cover with a damp towel.
To form the tortillas, place one of the equal parts between 2 pieces of plastic wrap.
Roll out with a rolling pin into a 6 inch circle.
In a heavy skillet, heat until it begins to smoke.
Place the tortilla in the pan and reduce the heat to medium-high and cook for 30 seconds.
Turn and cook on the other side for 1 minute.
Turn again and cook for 30 seconds more.
