1 onion, chopped
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
teaspoon taco seasoning mix
2 cans of diced stewed tomatoes, preferably with chili seasonings
3 cans of chili beans
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of diced green chilies

Directions:
Directions:
1. Put the beef into a soup pot placed over medium heat. Cook and stir until the meat has turned brownish. Break it up into crumbles and cook for 10 minutes.
2. Stir in the garlic and onion. Cook for 5 more minutes or until the onion has turned translucent.
3. Drain the excess grease. Sprinkle the meat with the taco seasoning mix. Cook the meat with the seasoning for another minute or so.
4. Pour the chili-flavored tomatoes, diced green chilies, chili beans and tomato sauce. Stir to combine then let it simmer for 30 minutes.
