Cake:
1/2 c Crisco
1 c sugar
1 tsp baking soda
salt
1 c sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
2 c flour
2 c chopped apples or rhubarb

Topping:
1 c chopped nuts
1 tsp cinnamon
2 Tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the cake ingredients together, folding in the apples or rhubarb when mixed. Divide mixture into 2 8x8 greased & floured cake pans. Combine the Topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of each. This can be baked right away or frozen. Drizzle a little powder sugar icing over the top.
