Oil for browning chicken
1 teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon ground pepper
½ cup flour
1 whole cut up chicken or 4 breasts or 6 thighs
½ cup chicken broth
¼ cup ketchup
¾ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 can (15 ¼ ounce) pineapple chunks in pineapple juice
1 tablespoon corn starch

Directions:

Mix garlic salt, pepper, and flour. Dip chicken into flour mixture. Brown in skillet in hot oil. Place chicken in a 9 by 13-inch baking dish. Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and soy sauce together. Pour over the chicken and bake for 40 minutes at 350°F. Mix undrained pineapple and cornstarch well. Pour over chicken and bake another 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with rice and a green salad.
