Oil for browning chicken
1 tablespoon garlic salt
teaspoon ground black pepper
cup flour
1 whole cut up chicken or 4 breasts or 6 thighs
cup chicken broth
cup ketchup
cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 can (15 ounce) pineapple chunks in pineapple juice
1 tablespoon corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Mix garlic salt, pepper and flour. Dip chicken into flour mixture. Brown in skillet in hot oil. Place chicken in an 11 by 13-inch baking dish. Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and soy sauce together. Pour over the chicken and bake for 40 minutes at 350F. Mix undrained pineapple and cornstarch well. Pour over chicken and bake another 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with rice and a green salad.
