½ c. raisins 1½ c. water ½ c. sugar 1 t. lemon juice 2 egg yolks 3 T. cornstarch 1 c. cream ¼ t. salt 1 T. butter
Mix together raisins, water, sugar and lemon juice. Simmer for 10 minutes. In separate bowl, beat egg yolks then add cornstarch, cream, salt and butter. Add to the raisin mixture and cook until thickened. Cool, then pour into baked pie crust and top with whipped cream.
