2 ½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
¾ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ginger
¼ tsp nutmeg
2 Tbsp crisco short
6 Tbsp butter
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup gran sugar
1 ½ pumpkin puree
2 eggs (room temp.)
¾ cup walnuts
½ cup raisins (if desired)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400º. Sift and mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg together in a bowl and set aside. Cream butter and short together. Add sugars and mix well. Beat eggs and add. Add pumpkin and mix well. Slowly add dry ingredients to the new mixture. Add walnuts and raisins. Drop by the spoonful onto a cookie sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes until browned.
