4-6 slices bacon
1/2 C chopped onion
4 medium potatoes, cubed
32 oz. corn
1 C chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
32 oz. chicken broth (save 1 cup)
2 Tbl. flour
2 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. In 3 qt. saucepan, fry bacon until crisp. Remove, drain, reserving drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside.

2. Cook onions in bacon drippings until soft but not brown. Add potatoes, corn, celery, salt, pepper, and 3 C chicken broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15-20 min.

3. Blend flour and remaining broth. Add to vegetable mixture. Cook and stir until slightly thick and bubbly. Reduce heat.

4. Add milk. Heat thoroughly, but do not boil. Top with crumbled bacon.
