Wet Ingredients:
c. vegetable oil
c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 egg

Dry Ingredients:
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
tsp. salt
tsp. cloves
tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
c. raisins (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the wet ingredients together. Mix the dry ingredients. Add the dry ingredients to the wet. Chill in the refrigerator. Roll into 1 in. balls and dip in sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes at 350.
