1 package of frozen bread dough
6 tbsp margarine
1 large onion
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 water

A pan with a tight fitting lid

Directions:
Directions:
1. thaw dough and roll and form into small egg shaped dough
2. put the formed dough on a floured cookie sheet
3. cover with a cloth, put in a warm area and let rise for at least 1 1/2 hours, the dough should double in size
4. In a pan put the margarine, water and salt. Bring to boil.
5. add the onion and keep the water boiling on a medium to high heat
6. Carefully add the dough balls trying to keep them from touching each other
7. Cover the pan and after 5 minutes turn the temp to medium
DO NOT OPEN COVER AGAIN UNTIL THE DUMPFNOODLA IS DONE
8. These should cook for approximately 30 minutes.
You want the water to evaporate and the dumpfnoodla to start frying (listen for frying)
