2 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup cold water
2 tbsp sugar
2 cups blackberries
2 tbsp butter

Use pie pastry, either frozen or homemade

Combine sugar, cornstarch & salt in med sauce pan. Stir to
Remove lumps. Add berries and mix well.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture
Is thick and bubbly. Add butter, mix well.
Set aside to let cool

Roll pastry in 1/8” thickness. Butter on bottom of pie shell,
Pour berries into pie shell. Put butter on top of berries,
Roll remain dough
Cut in strips, make a lattice on top. Sprinkle sugar in top

Bake 400 for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 350
Bake for 30-35 minutes longer
