1 16 1/4 oz. package yellow cake mix
1 egg
6 Tbl butter, melted

Filling:
1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
2 eggs, well beaten
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 16 oz. box powdered sugar

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Combine the cake mix, egg, and butter and mix well WITH YOUR HANDS (no mixer). Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 baking pan.

In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, eggs, vanilla, and salt WITH A SPOON (no mixer). Pour over layer 1 and smooth.

Bake at 350º F for 35 minutes, or less, depending on the oven, until golden brown.

**Best when made 24 hours before eating**
