8 slices stale white bread
2 lbs. Jimmy Dean mild sausage, cooked and drained
1 1/2 lbs. sharp grated cheddar cheese
6 eggs slightly beaten
3 cups Half and Half
1 rounded teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 finely minced green onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Decrust bread and butter generously and cut into 1/4" squares. Spray Lasagne pan with Pam. Arrange 1/2 bread on bottom of pan, cover with layer of 1/2 of the cheese and 1/2 of the sausage. Repeat layers.

Add rest of the ingredients to the eggs and beat briefly. Pour over bread, cheese, and sausage layers in the pan. Cover and refrigerate over night.

Remove 2 hours before cooking and let stand. Set in shallow pan with 1/2" cold water and bake at 300º
for 1 hour. Turn oven off and let stand for 20 minutes or read to serve.
