1 lb blanched almonds, chopped fine
2 c. water
sweet butter, melted
2 c. sugar
1 lb filo dough

Directions:
Directions:
Layer filo and butter 4 to 5 times, then layer filo, butter, and almonds until only 4 layers of filo dough left, then layer filo and butter again on top. Cut in almond shape and bake at 275 for 1 hours. Bring water and sugar to boil over medium heat and continue to boil for 15 minutes. Let cool completely. Pour over baklava when it comes out of the oven.
