2 c. brown sugar
1 cup + 2 T. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

2 c. flour
3 c. oatmeal
tsp salt
1 tsp. baking soda

2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 and grease jelly roll pan. Mix brown sugar, 1 cup butter, eggs and 1 tsp vanilla in large bowl. Stir in flour, soda salt, and oats. Reserve ⅓ of oatmeal mixture and press the remaining in pan.

Heat chocolate, milk, and 2 T. butter in pan over low heat stirring constantly until chocolate is melted. Remove and stir in nuts and 1 tsp vanilla and salt.

Spread over oatmeal mixture. Drop reserved oatmeal by teaspoonfuls onto chocolate. Bake until golden for 25-30 minutes. While warm, cut into bars.
