2 cups milk
1 stick margarine or butter
2 eggs
2 pkgs. active dry yeast
⅓ cup sugar
1 tsp. Salt
6 cups flour or more to make soft dough

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk then add to margarine or butter , sugar & salt in bowl. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast (which has been dissolved in cup warm water). Add three cups flour & beat with hand beater. Add two eggs (one at a time beating after each addition). Then add 2 more cups of flour. Work in with a spoon. Then work in the last cup flour or so for a soft dough. Raise in warm place til double in size or more. Shape and let raise again.
** Makes good doughnuts: after 2nd raising, cut with cutter or shape as desired. Deep fry in hot oil til brown. Drain on paper towels or brown paper bag.
