Crust

1 1/2. Cups crisco
3 cups flour cold
1 egg
1 tbsp vinegar
6-7 tbsp cold water
Makes 4 8” pies shells

1 cup sugar
1. Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
6. Tbsp lemon juice
Granny Smith apples peeled and sliced
Cube of butter

Mix crisco, cold flour, cold water, vinegar,, egg mix with pastry. blender until
Dough can be formed in a ball, roll into floured board to
Fit size of the pie pan
Grease pie plates, roll dough onto Pie plates
Butter bottom of dough,
Combine cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar together
Sprinkle some of the cinnamon mixture on bottom, add sliced apples
Add more apples, som of butter, and cinnamon mixture over apples
When apples are to the top of the pan put remaining cinnamon mixture over top,
Add butter to apples, sprinkle lemon juice on top
Put pie crust on top of apples
Sprinkle sugar on top crust before baking

Bake 450 degrees for 15 minutes, 350 degrees for 45 minutes
