1 cup soft butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1. tsp vanilla
2 1/2. cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1. tsp cream of tarter

Frosting
1.cube soft butter
1. cup powdered sugar
Milk, just to make thick
Dash of salt
1/2. tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla together until well blended
Add flour, baking soda. And cream of tartar
Mix well
Roll on floured board
Use favorite cookies cutter


Bake 350 degrees for about 7-8 minutes

Frosting
Combine powdered sugar, salt and vanilla, butter
Add milk to make as thick as you like
Use any color food coloring
When cookies are cool frost
