pastry for 9 inch pie pan
5 to 6 large fall apples
2/3 c less 1 tbsp light brown sugar
6 tbsp almost melted margarine
1 c soft white bread crumbs
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Line pie pan fluting edges high. Peel, core and thinly slice apples into pie shell, sprinkling sugar between each layer. Gently mix crumbs, margarine and cinnamon. Sprinkle over all apples. Pat down. Bake at 425ºF for 13 min then at 350ºF for 24 to 27 min until apples are tender and crust golden brown.
