1 stick butter or margarine
1 c brown sugar
1 egg
½ t vanilla
¼ t salt
2 c flour
¼ c milk
¾ c benne (sesame) seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar; add well-beaten egg., then vanilla. Sift salt and flour together and add alternately with milk to first mixture. Gradually stir in benne seed. Roll into cylindrical shape and place in freezing compartment until chilled. Slice thin and bake on greased baking sheets at 375º about 8 min. Be sure to remove from baking sheet immediately. Store in air-tight can. Keep cookie dough in freezer until ready to slice and bake.
