1/3 cup shortening
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tspn baking soda 2 eggs
2 squares of chocolate
1 tspn baking powder
1 tspn vanilla
1/2 tspn salt

Melt chocolate squares in boiling water.
Combine shortening and sugar, cream together.
Add well beaten eggs, water with chocolate, then flour.

Bake at 350 for 40 Minutes
