1 shot fresh squeezed lime juice (about 2 limes)
1 shot triple sec
1 shot tequila
Grand Marnier to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cut limes in half and squeeze out the lime juice with a lime press.
2. Fill a shaker with ice.
3. Add 1 shot each of fresh lime juice, tequila, and triple sec.
4. Shake well.
5. Pour a little bit of tequila in a saucer and margarita salt in another saucer. Dip the margarita glass in the tequila and then in the salt. Tip: If the margarita salt comes in a container with the yellow cone on top, pour a bit of tequila to fill the reservoir on top of the lid, dip the glass in that, and then dip the glass in the salt.
6. Pour margarita in the margarita glass and garnish with a slice of lime on the rim.
7. To make a Cadillac margarita, top the margarita with a splash of Grand Marnier.

Personal Notes:
This is a classic margarita recipe from Julia Child who loved her alcohol! I like it because it's easy to remember: 1 shot of each ingredient. You can make a larger batch by doubling the recipe but don't make more than 2 at a time in the shaker. You can also use this recipe to make a blended margarita.
