Ingredients:  
1 small onion chopped
1 1/2 cups dry unseasoned bread cubes
5 cups (2 1/2 lbs) canned tomatoes
1/2 tspn ground pepper
4 Tbspn butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tspn salt

Directions:
Directions:
Grease shallow casserole.
Saute onion till soft in butter.
Add bread cubes and brown sugar stirring over low heat for 3-5 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes, season to taste.
Put mixture in casserole.

Bake at 350 for 30-40 Minutes until bubbly.
