4 whole eggs
1/3 c. Half and Half
1 tsp. vanilla
1 T. cinnamon
2 T. sugar

6 to 8 slices of Italian bread

1 c. Panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 T. sugar

1 stick salted butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Crack the eggs into a shallow bowl and whisk until frothy. Add cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla and whisk until combined; then add the half and half and whisk well.

In a pie plate combine Panko crumbs, cinnamon, sugar, and 2 T. of the melted butter.

Heat a large skillet, add a couple of tablespoons of the melted butter. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture turning it over once; then dip in Panko crumbs, pressing lightly on each side to adhere. Fry in butter until nicely browned on each side. Remove to a plate and keep warm. Add more butter and continue until all bread is browned.

Serve with warm maple syrup and additional butter.
