1 cup butter – softened
½ cup powdered sugar
2 cups flour
4 eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
6 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp flour
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup pecans, chopped but not too fine




Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.
Mix butter, powdered sugar and 2 cups flour. Press into a 10 X 14 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes.

Beat eggs slightly; add 2 cups sugar, lemon juice, flour, baking powder and pecans. Pour over pastry.

Bake 40 to 50 minutes. Dust with additional powdered sugar. Let cool. Cut into squares. This makes about 2-1/2 dozen.
