1 double 9” pie crust
3/4 cup sugar
3 T cornstarch
6 cups blueberries
1 tsp grated lemon zest
1 T lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 425º.
Line pie tin with bottom crust. Set aside.

In a large bowl mix sugar and cornstarch thoroughly. Add blueberries and lemon zest and gently toss. Turn into prepared crust and sprinkle with lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Spread or roll out remaining crust to a 12” circle. Cut 10 strips about 1/2” wide. Place 5 strips over blueberry filling. Weave the other 5 strips, and seal ends of strips and flute the edge.

Bake 35-45 minutes, or until crust is golden and filling is bubbly. Cool on wire rack to room temperature then refrigerate until filling is thickened and set.
