4 Tbsp. butter
¾ cup flour
¾ cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
¾ cup milk
2 cups berries
1 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º F.
2. Put butter in an 8-inch square pan; set in oven to melt. When butter has melted, remove pan from oven.
3. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
4. Add milk and whisk to form a smooth batter.
5. Pour batter into the pan.
6. Scatter fruit over the batter.
7. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 Tbsp. sugar.
8. Bake about 35-40 min. until the batter browns and the fruit bubbles.
9. Serve warm or at room temperature with a dollop of whipped cream or a small scoop of vanilla ice cream.

This recipe makes a little denser cobbler than the blackberry cobbler recipe. And it uses baking powder rather than the self-rising flour that is called for in the blackberry cobbler recipe.
