1 German Chocolate cake mix
14 oz. caramels
c. butter
c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

NOTE: You can also use a chocolate devil's food cake mix.

Directions:
Directions:
Make cake according to directions on box. Grease & flour a 13 x 9 pan. Pour the batter in pan and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. In saucepan, melt caramels with butter & milk over low heat. Remove cake from oven & our caramel over cake. Top with chocolate chips & pecans. Pour second of cake batter over top. Return to oven and bake for another 20 minutes.
