4 small boxes strawberry Jello
6 c. sugar
7 c. mashed figs

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a large pot or metal dish pan. Cook on med-high heat until they are good and hot. Reduce heat to low and cook for 45 min - 1 hour. Stir them frequently to keep them from sticking to the bottom.


Place lids & rings in a pot of water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and keep hot until read to seal the jars.

Place the jars in a sink full of hot or boiling water. The jars need to be hot when filling them.

Using a funnel & small measuring cup (or small coffee cup) fill each jar to the neck. Use a damp cloth to wipe the rim & threads of the jar. Place lids & rings on the jars and seal tightly. Place inverted of a bath towel to cool and set.
