1 lb. fresh mushrooms
¼ cup butter
½ cup celery, chopped
½ cup onions, chopped
3 cups milk
1 cup cream
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1½ tsps. salt
½ cup milk plus 2 tbsps. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Clean and slice mushrooms. In a large skillet melt butter, add mushrooms, celery and onions. Cook until vegetables are soft but not brown. In a soup pot pour 3 cups milk and 1 cup cream; add cooked mushrooms, celery and onions together with chopped garlic clove and salt. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, then simmer for approximately 1 hour. Combine ½ cup milk and 2 tbsps. flour in a small jar. Shake well. Pour into soup pot and bring to a boil, stirring until slightly thickened. Reduce heat and simmer until ready to serve.
