1 cup sour milk
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. Butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pinch salt
1/2 tsp. Grated nutmeg
Flour to mix (3 cups)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the flour, nutmeg + baking soda together. Add sugar + mix. Add egg and sour milk and sugar.
The dough should be of a soft consistency.
Flour the board + roll dough to a 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut with a knife into strips about 3 inches in length.
Pinch the ends together + fry in deep lard.
