Hershey Bar Cake Recipe

6 Hershey bars, melted
2 st. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Hershey chocolate syrup
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. all-purpose flour
tsp. salt
tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 350.

Cream sugar & butter together. Add eggs; mix well. Add 1 c. flour; mix.

Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk; add to cake mixture. Add remaining cup of flour; mix well.

Add candy bars, syrup, salt, baking powder & vanilla; mixing well.

Pour into greased & floured tube cake pan.

Bake for 1 hour.

Everyone loves Granny's Hershey Bar Cake! She always makes one for Christmas. No matter how bad she feels, she enjoys making this cake for the family. She's been making this cake for as long as I can remember. I think this is her very favorite cake...with a big glass of buttermilk, of course. :)
