4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
2 st. butter

Preheat oven to 350º.

Beat eggs. Add other ingredients, adding flour last. Mix well with electric mixer on med. speed.

Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, approx. 35 minutes.

Granny used to make these cakes a lot when I was growing up. PaPa loves them...especially without frosting! He'd grab him a huge piece and a big glass of milk to drink with it. He was one happy camper! LOL
