2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
½ c. milk
1 st. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. smooth peanut butter
3 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, milk, cocoa butter & vanilla; bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat.

Add peanut butter; stir well. Add oatmeal; coating it well.

Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Refrigerate until set.

An all-time Hoots favorite! I can remember my neighbor Ms. Thornburg making these for me when I was young. Granny got the recipe from her and we've made them ever since.
